Making the martial arts a safer place for all

KARATE INTERNATIONAL MARTIAL ARTS ASSOCIATION

COURSES

Karate International Martial Arts Association offer many different courses. Including Coaching, Instructing, First Aid, Child Protection, Health & Safety, Kid Safe, Judging, Refereeing, Kata, Kumite and much more.

Our courses are top of the range level 2 coaching courses through 1st4sport or the BNMAA

All of our courses are either internally or externally verified, registered and certificated.

Attendance at some of these courses could lead to an externally recognised National qualification.

FIRST AID

Our first aid courses are run by external agency's such as the St Johns Ambulance Brigade or British Red Cross. This helps with the credibility of the qualifications awarded.

This enables us to ensure up to date practices and procedures are followed and so maintain quality in our member schools.

It is the instructors responsibility and duty to ensure that there is at least one qualified first aid trained person present at all classes. Remember that if this is not done then YOU are guilty of negligence.

To express an interest in any future first aid courses please send us an email to firstaid@karateinternational.co.uk

CHILD PROTECTION

Today's instructors and assistants must be more aware of what is involved in teaching children and vulnerable adults. It sometimes seems obvious what to do and what not to do. But I have seen many experienced instructors make mistakes in terms of teaching children. We at Karate International want to make training in karate a safe pleasurable experience for everyone, students, instructors and parents. By attending one of our awareness seminars you will become more familiar with the pitfalls of teaching children and make your classes a safer and better place for them to train.
